Yo! Remember me? It’s okay if you don’t. Once again, I’ve broken one of the top 10 cardinal sins of blogging— the one that says, “Blog consistently.”

This is not a joke. There are actual people who make actual money by blogging about blogging rules to other bloggers. They form actual Facebook groups where actual bloggers pose actual questions about how to make a full-time income by blogging, or how to best use Pinterest to drive traffic to their blog, or what is the best editorial calendar to make sure they blog consistently… They take their blogging very seriously.

The prince next door

Just one day ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in what was arguably my favorite television wedding event since Luke and Laura got married on General Hospital back in the early 1980s (even though my mom wouldn’t let me skip school to watch it, a fact I’ve held a grudge about for over 35 years…) Any blogger worth his or her salt is going to bring up yesterday’s event this week, being sure to throw in key words like “royal” and “wedding” and “fascinator” and “Windsor Castle” and “Why is there even still a British monarchy,” because everyone knows these are the key words that are being Googled like crazy right now, and using such words should theoretically help your blog get more views.

If I ever have time to blog again, the first thing I will do is extend a very special “Bon Jour” to Equilibre, the French-Canadian fitness site that likes to steal my blog posts, translate them into French, and post them as their own without giving me credit! All is Calm, All is Bright

Hello, friends! The last time I checked in with you all was on Halloween. And here we are, already just a couple days away from another holiday! Yes, just 2 days before Thanksgiving (and, incidentally, 6 days before Deer Day), I am sitting here in front of my computer, writing something just for you people to read. Everything Is Awesome

Hello to all 26 of my official blog followers! (Note: that’s up 3 since my last post! Awesome!) And hello to the rest of you who just can’t avoid me because this shows up in your Facebook feed. I love you all, you’re all awesome.

I just took a look back at my last post and realized, it was pretty “glass half-empty.” I was in a bad mood, letting a lot of little things get under my skin. That’s really not me. I’m an optimistic person, most of the time. And to prove it, I’m going to spend this entire blog post just talking about all of the positive things that have happened in the past two weeks.
